Time wait for no one

I’ve watched many time traveling movies lately. Although each movie made by difference production and have totally difference story plot and ending, but there is a same characteristic I found in those movies. Everyone who has traveled back to the past, in the end, is having no benefit of it, except for learning their mistakes. They even learn that there is no use try to change the present situation by traveling back to the past. Instead appreciate every moment we had left and try to make a better future is more likely thing to do. “Time wait for no one” even if you had ability to rewind it, than you probably forgetting the whole point of living, which is “move on”.

Hehehe, this might me a set up though. These movies might be supervised by unknown organization to make a mindset of anti-time-travel. Just kidding!

Twinkle, twinkle once again

I’ve received a comment on twinkle, twinkle on facebook by a long lost friend (sorry Zafuto) today. I thought no one like the movie or even know the movie. But he even plays a game based on the movie. Wow, that surprising, I’d like to play it to. I was hoping its end would be difference from the movie but…, naively I hate sad/bad ending…

Last night I watched a horror anime movie and the ending lyric is sound like this

Graduation day…

Another graduation day in my Univ. More than 500 students graduated today. With graduation day held every 3 months in rough calculation it would be around 2000 fresh graduaters every year. I just wonder where they would go after this. I hope everyone got a piece of the cake. Go go!

Another “Please revisits my score!”

I got an email early today from a student of mine. He said he doubt my judgment on his final score. He got B, but he believes he should have no less than an A. After reopening my scoring file and doing double check, everything is alright so nothing should be doubted at.

Flashing back, when I got a B in my graduate study it was a great achievement for me. And I would think twice before decide to ask my lecturer if he/she misjudged with my score. It was hard back then, even just to get a B I have to work very hard on studying. But to my students right now, it so easy to get an A or B, they don’t even have to sweat at all. I guess that why the always complaining, even if they already got B or C. Compared to Indonesian top universities, there B would be D or even worse in those universities. Hehehe, don’t mean to be harsh but sometime this matter really bother me.

Ocean Wave

When I did my usual random walk on wikipedia a week ago, I found an interesting writing on anime called “Ocean Wave”. The story is about first year college student flash back regarding girl that he like back in high school. The story is open ending but not so open I guess because audience can judge at the end the boy successfully meet the girl again.

Yesterday I finally able to watched the anime, I satisfied because the original anime was more interesting than the resume. Hehehe

A phone call from abroad

I got a very important phone call from US this morning, an interview. I hope the result is good. I miss answer some question and I worried about their impression on that. Oh God, please let me through.

Je suis malade

Finally my body can’t bear it anymore. I fell sick at approximately 10.30 AM (GMT +08.00) today, or at least the symptoms appeared around that time. My head feel so dizzy and so heavy. Not long after I took my wife and son to see a doctor this morning, I also catch the fever. Nothing much to say on it, it just a small fever (I think). Known cause until now is riding motorcycle in very heavy rain yesterday night. I hope I’ll get well soon. I have a big event next Friday morning.

Because of this reason, I also have to skip the “Three-Days-Meeting” I mention earlier. So dizzy, I going to take a little nap soon… A cup of milk would be better.

Three Days Meeting

Ah… I can’t believe that February is already here. Groundhog Day, we got an internal meeting in the department. According to plan, this meeting will last for three days. So for these three days, we will discuss about various topic range from Quality Assurance issues to Internal Reporting issues.

As for my own opinion, it would be a quite boring meeting, although the meal might be the opposite. QA is important issue, but I think this meeting is not talking the “real” QA. I think it just another filling-the-hole so we could accomplish the bureaucracy requirements. But, I’m proud to work with this solid team. There is no doubt, we are one of the best and high quality educator around ^_* (just kidding)

Proposal Daisakusen

It’s been awhile since I’m in to something, until a couple weeks ago I found a link to “Proposal Daisakusen”. It’s a Japanese TV serial, aired around 2007 in Japan. I read the synopsis on wikipedia and taught that it quite an interesting serial. So I wonder around the internet looking for any possible download. Luckily I found some site that offer free download of it. I toke me at least a week to download all 11 chapters, with a 10 kbps or less connection this is the best I can get.

The story after all is quite simple, is about a young couple who are to afraid to say there feeling toward each other until it almost too late, the girl is almost married with other guy. But it contains lot of entertain comedy and the story is not quite flat, so it make me interest to follow each of it chapter. My melancholies feeling triggered in the 11^th chapters… truly touching my hearth, although I was expecting the ending would be like that, but still.

As for now, I try to hunt other interesting J-Drama, but still there is no luck yet. So if you have some advice, please tip me in.
